Paul Young OALA, MA planning

 

Paul Young is a registered landscape architect and urban designer.  He has over 20 years experience in urban    design, streetscape and park design and planning.

 

He also has over 13 years of strategic planning and facilitation experience working with public and multi-sectoral groups.

 

Public Space Workshop is a small consulting office specializing in participatory planning and design.  The work focuses on neighbourhood planning, planning for active transportation and open space design. 

 

Paul believes that sustainable and healthy communities emerge from a design process that involves the community.  Projects become interactive learning opportunities for both participants and designers. 

 

He collaborates with associates in the fields of landscape architecture, consultation, and public art.

 

Paul Young’s urban design experience is complimented by 13 years working in health promotion at the South Riverdale Community Health Centre in Toronto.

Neluka Leanage

As a member of the Ontario Association of Professional Planners Neluka has worked on active transportation master plans and national active transportation studies. She has training and experience in urban and rural planning, health promotion and policy. Based on her initial PhD findings, Neluka developed two tools a behaviour shift model and an approach to monitor and improve implementation. 

 

Jungle Ling
